I recently had the pleasure of visiting Willow Creek Health Care Nursing Facility, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I entered, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel at ease. I cannot speak highly enough about the care and professionalism provided at this skilled nursing facility. When we arrived and my dad was transported from the hospital to Willow Creek we saw: Dirty (as in filthy) rooms - like they do not clean at all! TVs that don’t work. Furniture so old drawers don’t open. No AC in 100+ heat! We had to force them to clean the bathroom, empty trashes (that had tubes and blood bandages, etc.), mop the floors (that looked like someone gave birth on)! There were dead dried up flowers in vases and misc items in the room. You get the idea - I think prisons are cleaner!!! My dad stayed one night only and then we moved him out. They make you leave at 8pm and open again for visitors at 8am. So let me assure you that your loved one will have 12 hours of complete neglect! They will not change the diaper or help with the comfort or care in any way! Such a horrible and traumatic experience for someone who is slowly dying! And if that’s not bad enough, they just made it 1000x worse for my dad and my whole family. This place needs to be investigated and restaffed.

The admission process was very stressful. My wife was left alone in a room for an hour before someone came to greet her and ask about her condition. After that inauspicious beginning, staff were very nice and attentive - when they could get to her. It was not uncommon for my wife to wait 30 minutes or more for a CNA or other nursing staff to respond to her requests foe assistance. The facility itself was adequate. Glad she’s coming home today.

The place is kept super neat and clean, and I really feel that my family’s needs are well taken care of here.
