I can’t say enough good things about the employees in this store. Suzy knows absolutely everything!! And Cory just did a bang up job delivering a grill for me.

Anytime my handyman needs a part or tool to work on my 76 year old house, he’s in & out & back on the job in minutes! (Valuable, since he works by the hour!)

I’m always greeted by more than one employee, offering assistance. It makes me want to go, even when I don’t need anything!

The store was closing within minutes. The staff was not phased by me (and a few others) coming in at the last minute. The clerk was polite. I was getting keys made. She took the keys, made them, returned to the counter, and thanked me for coming in. Good service and clean store!

My father went into this ace hardware. He has been in the construction business in Wichita for 30 years. He is kind, respectful, treats people with integrity. He is Hispanic and has an accent though speaks English well. The male employee in the power tools department completely dismissed him. He literally walked away from him mid-sentence. He was rude and dismissive.

My white husband went in a few hours later. Same tool-- same issue. He was assisted well and even got help. It was a completely different experience.

This location was at Hillside and Douglas.

I have called corporate to make them aware of how this Ace is allowing their store to run business. The irony is-- their helpline is outsourced to a Latin-American country. The person who spoke to me had an accent as thick as my father's. He spoke to me with attention and respect.

Helpful and friendly staff overall. I was stuck with a rounded nut on my bicycle, no tool was available to unlock it. Brandon( one of the staff) helped with an electric saw.

I live near the Indian Hills Ace Hardware. It took more than 20 minutes to get the help I needed to find a product and then was told Westlake Ace had what I needed, even though the website showed it in store at this location. Within 2 minutes of walking in to Westlake Ace an assistant manager, Erick Yanez helped me find what I needed and answered all of my questions about other products as well. Thanks Ace and Erick I’ll definitely be back!

This day and age it is hard to find customer service at most retail places. The Ace hardware located at Central and Tyler is not one of these places! They go above and beyond for their customers! The glass in my storm door got broken. A day full of severe storms was in the forecast. I wanted to protect my interior door and time was of the essence. Erick (assistant manager), and Brianna ( associate) understood the urgency and and quickly cut me two pieces of glass to fit my storm door window. They were absolutely amazing!
If you are looking for impeccable customer service with a hardware store, this is the one to go to!
