This happened two years ago, but I am thinking back on it recently and felt the need to share because I am still so upset over my experience here. I was recommended this center by a close friend who went through something similar to me, and at one point they just completely halted contact. I was told a few months later that the coordinator they placed me with had left, but this was never mentioned to me prior. The new counselor they assigned to me stopped contacting me after two sessions. You are dealing with some of the most vulnerable people. I get that you're a small group with little funding, but maybe try to be a little more conscientious. I was left in a darker place than before, feeling all the more wary and untrusting of people, and that simply shouldn't have happened.

Edit 6/8/2024: Apparently they responded to my review. So, to reiterate years later, I still see no reason to believe that the owner actually cares about women survivors of male violence. At least, not all of us. I will not give your clinic a minute of my time again.

Cancelled my appointment after I made time in my day. I was driving to the appointment for them to call and cancel. It sucks but I guess I'll just live like this. These people obviously don't care since I was made to wait so long to even get an appointment.

I can confidently say I wouldn't be in the position I am in life now without the help of the Victim Service Center. I strongly encourage anyone who is suffering from their situation to give VSC a chance. I’ve learned invaluable healthy coping skills from therapy here.

The VSC has helped me grow so much. I will always be extremely thankful and will never forget those who've helped me to heal from my experience.

Rhonda is horrible she doesn't respond back and also hasn't even worked on my case and been trying to contact her for a month and has just been putting me to voicemail or won't respond to emails

My wife was assaulted in NYC and is having a hard time dealing with the horrible trauma. But this agency is helping her get through this horrible incident and help her recover so she can get on with her life once again even though its hard to forget.
