Office staff is HORRIBLE & money hungry. I would never leave a card on file with them. Therapist is great but not worth the office staff stealing.

Such a great and caring team -- I would recommend them to anyone looking for a therapist or needing an evaluation.

After the death of our 10 year old daughter we began therapy for one of our children with The Center. This review is not about the therapist but about The Center's billing department.

I allowed a credit card consent to be placed on file. The billing department consistently processed payments inconsistently. They were either not processed at all and then processed all at once or I would receive calls letting me know I was a payment behind. This has been a huge hassle over the past 8 months. When I grew exhausted from dealing with this hassle I asked the billing department to take my credit care off file and I asked them to run what I owed. They informed me that this happened. I should have checked my bank account to ensure they followed directions. They also assured me they would no longer process payments without speaking to me first.

Last week and today (2 months after my daughters last therapy session) payments have been automatically withdrawn. As it turns out the payments they said they processed were never processed. The billing department chose to ignore the fact that I have no consent on file and to run payments at their discretion. I am absolutely ok with paying what I owe. What I'm not ok with is someone deciding to dip into my bank account whenever they desire.

Of course, I called the billing department today and I was told that I have a consent on file. I reminded them that I was told this consent was taken off file because of the massive inconsistencies and discrepancies with payments being processed. I was told, "Well, we tried to contact you last week and there was no answer." The fact that anyone at The Center attempted to contact a deeply grieving family during Christmas week about billing issues tells me that they have no idea how to work with traumatized people and they have zero clue as to how grief exhibits itself during the Holidays.

The manager of the billing department just called and spoke with me. She offered me a refund so that I could pay at a later date. I told her no. I don't want a refund because I owe the money. I want to know that my payments will be processed as agreed upon. She did not agree to correct these issues in her department. When I told her that I would have to start over and find a new therapist for my daughter because I do not want to continue to go through this with the billing department her response was, "Ok." She did not take any responsibility for these issues and even said that they have new people at the front desk although she agreed that is not an excuse. This is highly unacceptable and it is so inappropriate to treat patients in this way. It takes months for a child to open up to their therapist and now we are back to square one.

For shame. I'll be sure to leave reviews wherever needed so that people can be aware of what they are getting into.

To the "owner." Please don't reply and ask me to call or offer "apologies". Instead, reply and fix the problem so that traumatized people don't have to deal with this headache on top of everything else they are going through.

My son began therapy with Ms. Taylor a about 3 years ago to help with his ADHD. Everything was going great and then she unfortunately became sick with Covid and was hospitalized. My appointment was cancelled and i never heard back from the office. When i would call the office to see when i could get back into therapy with another therapist Lacy let me know that there was no therapist at the time and she would put me down on a wait list. I believe its going to be almost two years and i have yet to hear back from anyone.

Whomever the Tanisha lady is is EXTREMELY rude and UNPROFESSIONAL.
She argued with me about what was sent to my email. Then said my son was basically lucky to have been seen cause I didn't fill out paperwork. I just don't understand how a COUNSELING CENTER has such a rude receptionist. I asked to speak to office manager or someone above her and she told me there wasn't anyone she's "The boss"
I'm sure their response will be that they don't have my name on file looking at other reviews.
My son comes here also them even stating that is a direct violation of Hippa . As they can not say idlf a patient is or isn't seen here. Dr.Woods is good however this "lady" is HORRIBLE.

I wholeheartedly love everything about this place. While the exteriors are sooo cool (love the sign and Prayer Wall) it is what lies within. I have seen the compassion, understanding, knowledge and love exude from so many who work here. It stems from the top with God first and a fabulous human being, Dr Brad Schwall who works alongside so many humbly changing the community and world we love in. Love love love this place!! I would’ve given 10 Stars ⭐️

Dr. Woods is an amazing therapist and definitely 5 stars. I have this 3 stars because I had a crisis and called tonight but a very rude AA girl yelled I can’t hear youa nd started off what’s your account number as if it’s just business and no concern for patients. I just hung up on her rude A**. That’s why I’m online tonight leaving a review because sometimes you need to just have a person or outlet. It was unfortunate that I can’t speak to the on call therapist tonight because I really need it. I thought I could do it without Dr. Woods help the past few weeks but it’s proving to be not a wise choice.

They also need to fire Bridgette the office manager. She’s very fake and rude. Very unprofessional and doesn’t return calls. She lies about calling back when I have the phone on speaker with my partner about his bill. It took almost two months to clear out his balance. Watch out for her! She’s the main reason I stopped going abruptly. The review below me also mentions the rudeness and I bet my life it was Bridgette.
