FOLLOW UP REVIEW:
I originally gave a 1/5 ⭐️ review (see below) due to a very frustrating experience I had with the print shop. After speaking with Rob directly, he offered me to re-submit my order that was missing, which I declined to do as the original order took many hours of work that I cannot get back. He offered to refund me for the order instead, which I ended up doing and refunding the other 2 books as well since they were gifts and we wanted all 3 wedding albums to match. Rob was very kind and professional when interacting with him on the phone and in person. I understand this was not the fault of those working at this Staples location, but more an issue with fujifilm and their photo book printing service so I changed my review to reflect the positive experience I had dealing with Rob to figure out what the problem was and a resolution.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I ordered hard cover print books of my wedding pictures through Staples. When I went to pick them up, one of the books was missing (now I hadn’t received a confirmation for pick up of that specific order) however the other 2 orders that came in, one had a yellow line in one of the pictures. What I thought would be an easy fix to have the company re-print my order has turned into an absolute headache & nightmare. I spoke to a girl on the phone for 15min today, wasting my time and basically have not resolved a single thing. The only option that has been offered was to refund & re-do my order that is missing… this is simply unacceptable. I would have gone with a completely different company had I known this is what would have happened. I also have received NO communication regarding either order #’s.. the one that was sent for re-do I got 0 communication that the new book was in and it’s been approx. 2.5-3 weeks since I initially ordered all of the print books and have STILL NOT received any information on the order that has not shown up. Such an unpleasant experience. Stay away from the print shop so you don’t have to endure the headache.

Incredible experience at the print shop! Rob and team were so helpful with some last minute printing needed for a wedding. They saved us hours of effort and were so helpful and even offered to back the printed resources on foam core which was so helpful!

Terrible customer service in the print shop.
Acknowledging the customer and order of service is extremely poor.
People who have never used the self serve print service, are not shown how to use instead point to a sticker on the counter and left to do it on their own.
Wanting to print on a card stock at the self serve was not an option, rather I had to wait for someone to serve me and then pay extra for them to do it; why not have the option to bring your own specialty paper and print at self serve or not charge the consumer because an employee had to print it.
When ordering larger prints and asked if you will wait or come back, give the price options as well.
Exemplary customer service never goes out of service!

I had a fantastic experience at Staples! The store was impeccably clean and well-lit, creating a pleasant shopping atmosphere. It wasn't too crowded, which made browsing a breeze. The highlight was the excellent customer service – the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and ready to assist without being overbearing. Overall, a great visit!

The two women working in the print shop are phenomenal. Emma stayed late on a Saturday to help me get something done last minute, whilst finessing some difficult customers at the same time. Then again today, Emma and Dhara went above and beyond to fix an issue I was having with another print item. Incredible service and perfect prints. Thanks again!

Holy unhelpful service. First the employee who served me, I have zero problems with. They were professional and just following their training, my issue here is with the management. I came in today to do some shipping, I bought a box and some bubble wrap at the store and was ready to ship my item. Now I was in the copy and print centre and I could clearly see a tape gun with a large roll of tape loaded in it so I asked the rep if I could use it. I maybe needed three or four pieces of it to get my box ready to ship. I was told she can’t give it out, and I should buy the tape gun from the aisle. She apologized and moved on.

I mean full rights to staples, it’s their tape they do not have to let me take it but come on, I drove out there ready to ship something with you spent money on a box and bubble wrap. Come on, try to meet your customers a little. I’m not even saying half way just like 10%. This exchange was disappointing and felt very nickle and diming for a store that claims to be the “get it done” store.

Do better.

I had my photos clicked last Friday with required specifications. However my passports application centre did not accept it because the shoulder were not visible enough. My appointment was in Toronto they gave me option to get click it done at their location or come back with new appointment. Already it took me 1 month to get that appointment so I end up getting it done there only. I came back to Waterloo location and explained my situation. the staff working at the moment agreed with me that photo zoomed in too much and try to help me but manager denied to give me some sort of refund or store credit. I spent $60 for 4 photo copies. Terrible experience
