was sent here a few years ago. I'm transgender and the staff's refusal to help accommodate my dysphoria for several days was disgusting. they forced me into a strip search upon admission despite me screaming and crying and desperately trying to object and was told to shut up afterwards. they also dug into my arm for blood work and left several bruises. do not send your kids here, especially if they have issues with body image or gender dysphoria. the trauma is not worth it

got baker acted here and spent 5 days here. the nurses would tell kids to "shut the f up" and "if I was your dad I'd beat the living f outta you" and one of the nurses "Ms. D" would act like she was about to hit kids and make them flinch. they would also threaten to take away your food as punishment which they're not legally allowed to do and is a violation of your rights. they would also threaten to put you in restraints and inject you with chemicals that would make you fall asleep for 3 days as a punishment which is another violation of your rights. overall an absolutely awful experience especially for someone that needs help and they don't care about laws or regulations because they assume that kids aren't going to be aware or even if they are that they won't do anything about it.

Gave one star would give less than one if I could ! A Malpractice waiting to happen ! If you care about your love ones find somewhere else to help them ! It's like jail for the patients, let them call it inmates . Truly a horrible place !!!

I would give zero stars if I could. Extremely disappointed with the care and communication at this facility. Serious concerns were ignored, and staff displayed a lack of professionalism.

You never want to go through this as a parent but this place saved her life. She was safe and comfortable. Thank God for the great people here and their support. We had no issues. Insurance was taken care of. Meds were fine. All of these other reviews sound like disgruntled patients that wanted to go home but weren’t safe to release or people who didn’t ask questions. My only complaint was the food. She said that nearly every day was chicken and it was overcooked.

This rating is for both between my mom and me. I was a patient here a couple years back. It overall wasn’t bad but there are things that def should have been handled differently, etc. To get into some things: Doctor broke patient-doctor confidentiality (they are only required to share if the child/adolescent is in danger or harm), nurses disrespect the teens and don’t know what the hell they’re doing, I didn’t know this was bad till time later but they completely strip searched me and other patients without child or parent consent, there was a girl there when I was there that was there for her manic episodes and the nurses aware of that responded as if that the girl could just stop and handle it, whatever they told my mom before and after I was attempted and released were untrue and never actually happened, etc. there are other things but once you read further down in other reviews you’ll see other things I didn’t need to cover. In other words this place is a jail without true honest care for its inmates/patients.

I was forced to stay a week and was not allowed to see any family. They strip searched me, changed all my medications to the point I could not walk, abused the girls I was with, and didn't let me see or speak to anyone I knew, no family or friends, and ignored my chronic illness diagnoses, including PCOS, denying me sanitary materials. I have never felt so alone in my life. This place is run like a prison and you can tell none of the nurses truly care about you. Avoid. It will only traumatize you further.

I was advised by the hospital my son was transported to this place. And to follow behind for information. I ended up getting here first. The admin lady GAIL answered the intercom extremely rude. I was just asking for inform on the next step because nobody told me anything! I asked to speak to the boss. Supposedly there was no manager on site. I told her I work for a behavioral academy similar to this place and I was hesitant to send my son here because of staff like her. Her response was “whatever”. I recorded it all. Finally she got a therapist to come out. She was kind enough to explain the process to me. Still waiting to see my son. I’m already scared to death for him to be here knowing Gail could be involved with his stay here. So unprofessional. I hate the feeling of him not being safe. I was initially happy the hospital chose this facility to send him than the others, now I regret it all. Gail needs to be fired.
