I always get excellent care at St. David’s (third visit this year ?). This time, even in the middle of a very busy day at the ER, Nurse Liz and Jen and Dr. David took excellent care of me. They were kind and efficient and figured out I had appendicitis very quickly and then helped me get to surgery all within a few hours. Great care from a great team.

Dr Synder and nurses Kat and Daisy were exceptional this morning. My daughter was seen urgently today at their emergency room and the care was excellent. Feel like Dr Synder went out of her way to care for our two-year-old daughter. The nurses were excellent. My daughter was scared of course being in there and the staff made her feel very comfortable. They’re very thorough in their medical work up and we had a overall tremendous experience there. I’d recommend this emergency room to anyone else.

The care was fantastic. We were in and out in less than 2 hours. The doctor was caring and compassionate. We had a wonderful experience at St. David's Emergency Center.

Why the one star? The following month, we received 3 bills for my young daughter's visit. We expected this because of emergency services and the doctor's bill and the bill for her rapid strep test were reasonable. However, the third bill for just the location "St. David's South Austin Medical Center" was over $2,000, which equated to a $1,200 bill for me to pay. Yes, we were in network. THAT IS INSANE. My daughter had her vitals taken, a (positive) rapid strep test, and we were on our way. That visit will now cost me over $1,400.

Unless your arm/leg/other extremity is literally falling off or you are dying...stay away. Now I know why we were the only patients there.

What a rare delight to receive excellent patient care, professional compassion, as well as state of the art treatment and testing. Particularly Dr Kimberly Snyder and my two sweet nurses Amy and Amy's friend I didn't get your name but you were super funny and thanks for singing to me. Thank you for making a very uncomfortable and scary time for me easier!
The only thing lacking at this facility are beds 🙂 The James Casey location currently has no beds available:(

My son was having issues breathing. I took him to a place up the road and they said 15 min wait. I called here and they said to bring him right in. They were waiting at the door for us and did such a wonderful job keeping him calm and comfortable. Dr. Snyder was very thorough and the nursing staff was top notch. I appreciated them so much!

Fast, courteous, professional and very friendly. Just experienced our first ER visit when our three-year-old fell and split her lip and cut her face. The doctor treated her and made her feel comfortable and gave us clear and good advice on how to take care of her post visit. I recommend this as a ER solution.

This is absolutely the best emergency room I have ever been to! I care for an elderly couple, she is blind, and we have been to the ER 3 separate times the past few months. Jeff has been there to care for them each time. He remembers a number details from our pervious visits that make caring for my friends so much easier! Jennifer was so kind and helpful as well on our previous as well! Dr. Snyder is easy to talk to and very efficient at what she does! The staff at this place is simply amazing! They really care about their patients! Thank you for all of the help!

Do not go here! You will regret it!
Had to visit this location due to a car accident in June of last year, and I'm still working with them to approve my insurance. I have called them multiple times and haven't arrived at any conclusions. They always just recommend to call back in two weeks. That's been almost 9 months of back and forth with this clinic. Avoid the headaches and go somewhere else.
