Was a bit apprehensive about visiting this store looking at the existing reviews. However, to my surprise I had the most pleasant experience once I decided to visit. Cate from the runners need team was pretty helpful and even though I did not have an appointment for the gait analysis, she helped me get one (due to a last minute cancellation). The team in general seemed quite knowledgeable and provided me with a bunch of options personalised for my running style. All in all, I’m pretty happy with my purchase.

Went for a gait analysis, got pretty useless advice from staff – was told to buy shoes that are 2.5 sizes too small and couldn't give me specific advice. Didn't buy anything and was forced to pay £20.

I went to another running shop a few weeks later (Runlimited) and got much better advice.

A really fantastic experience, can’t recommend enough! Got very well looked after by Pierre and he made it seem so simple to find new running shoes even with my previous injuries. Thank you!!

Customer service is poor. Shoes advertised at one price then charged another price at the till, apparently because of the colour, but no explanation of this when provided the shoes to try on. No apology offered for wasting time or not advertising correctly. Not really what you expect from this company.

Excellent service, very satisfied
I had an excellent experience at the Monument and Covent Garden stores in London today!
I was assisted by Tig for a gait analysis at Monument. Tig was very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, answering all my questions and helping to troubleshoot options with sizing. Nothing was too much trouble for Tig, despite it being a very busy store on a Sunday morning and some other customers who were quite impatient. Tig handled it all with professionalism and still made sure everyone had their needs met promptly.

Though they didn't have the exact size I needed Tig informed me that it was in stock at the Covent Garden store where I was assisted by Ed. Again a very busy store but Ed made sure I had everything I needed with friendly and knowledgeable service. I walked away very happy with a new pair of shoes.

Excellent that they let you try out as many shoes as you like on treadmill, even if you hadn't booked a gait analysis (though those who had booked seemed to be prioritised). My suggestion would be to book if you can otherwise you may have a little bit of a wait during peak times. Also, socks are required to try on shoes and they don't have spare try ok socks for the running shoes.

Covent Garden was a bigger store with more staff than the Monument one but both had a good range!

This store is very close to my office and generally has a decent stock of products, which is why i find myself returning - it certainly isn't for their customer service which is absolutely terrible. Probably the worst I've experienced.

Today topped it off. Booked 11:30 Gait Analysis, at 11:32 another customer turned up for their 11:30 Gait Analysis and the server continued with both of us as if this is no big deal. This is a personal service which should be 1 on 1. They said this is standard to double book. I walked out and wont be returning.

Avoid this shop at all costs.

Dennis turned a potentially frustrating situation into a great one! He was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable, helping me find the ideal trainers after a scheduling hiccup. Can't thank him enough!

Went yesterday, had my gait (idk how you spell it) tested and bought new shoes. Pierre was wonderful! So helpful and patient.
