As far as rec centers go, this was a pretty good one. Gym, pool, basketball, fitness classes etc. I wanted to also make sure that pictures weee updated, as the website for this center didn’t list the gym as clearly as some of the others in the valley. They have most of the standard equipment, a variety of machines, free weights, a heavy bag, etc. the leisure pool is likely going to be down for a bit, but the lap pool is still available.

What a fun Rec center! The kids loved the pool and we spent most of our time in there! Love that they have a toddler area and the big slide/lazy river for older kids too! Can't wait to go back!

We have the family plan and love it. The swimming pool is great for kids.
Great staff there. And the machines are really new for a city-owned facility. Highly recommended.

Nice little gem of a rec center ticket into Rose Park. Our kids are loving being on the swim team. Our youngest finishes every practice with a couple runs down the water slide. Glad we found this place.

Easiest gym to join. You can buy monthly passes, or just pay by the day, but they dont lock you into contract.

Amazing yoga teachers, and probably the cheapest way to attend classes in the area. A single day pass includes everything, and at time of writing is 6 dollars, which is much less than a boutique gym.

Great atmosphere. Employees are friendly and place stays clean. It's never been busy enough to slow down a workout and the general vibe is chill.

They also have a log rolling activity on weekends in the pool that's fun. Highly recommended

I love coming here for the gym, swimming, and the park that is behind the rec center! They have many activities that go one so go check out their events page through the website! They have log rolling, inflatable water rock climbing, and many other events and classes!

I was truly looking forward to another fantastic year at the rec center, especially with the free kids passes. However, I've been quite disappointed by the significant changes this year.
The pool closure was initially estimated to last through the middle of the summer. Unfortunately, it ended up being closed for much longer, and will now not open until after Labor Day weekend. This extended closure has been a major inconvenience for members who rely on the pool for exercise and recreation.
In addition to the pool closure, many of the popular exercise events that typically take place throughout the year, such as the July 4th and July 24th activities, have been canceled due to the center being closed on holidays. This is especially disappointing since these events are often a highlight for families.
Furthermore, the center's decision to remain closed on holidays when kids are out of school and others would like to visit is also frustrating. In the past, the center would often have adjusted hours for the holiday that would also allow for exercise events. This year, however, it seems like there's been a lack of flexibility.
Given these reductions in services and the unexpected length of the pool closure, the current price doesn't seem to reflect the value that members are actually getting.
