My fiance and I used movecenter services from our relocation to our new workplace. Our relocation consultant Fran Shayo was extremely helpful throughout this process. She was available for guidance at all times and coordinated each and every need of ours. Without movecenter and Fran we wouldn't have had such a smooth transition to our new home. We would definitely recommend movecenter for anyone looking for a smooth, hassel free move.

August 2014:

My wife and I recently underwent a corporate relocation. MoveCenter was given to us as our contact for the process. There is second office in Dallas TX.

They process wasn't made easier through this company/our contact in Dallas TX. Maybe for the CEO's and high ups they'd pay more attention to but the for regular employee I'd use caution. I had a hard time finding reviews on this company and feel its important to document my experience for the rest of internet.

After everything is said and done, I will be completing my review in detail.

The booking/surveying was done through Alexanders Mobility Service in Minneapolis, MN and the haul was done through Atlantic Relocation Systems in Denver, CO. (both involved with Atlas USDOT 125550) The moving itself was superb; it was the communication and professionalism.

Jan 30 2015: I was contacted by the Executive Vice President for MoveCenter a couple of weeks ago. I appreciate that I was contacted in regards to my experience, although I had already put it behind me.

May 16 2018: Realized I never got around to finishing this review, so based on my email trail this is a short summary:

There were several email communications with direct questions (and phone calls if I remember correctly) that were ignored or answered in a very brief/ vague way. Between the different parties involved it wasn't made very clear who our point of contact was for questions regarding the move process.

The final bill was $65 dollars less than the estimate- but the weight was also 1,200lbs less than the estimate, which seemed off. When we inquired about the final it felt like pulling teeth to get information. After several emails we eventually received a breakdown of the costs- there was a 352.00 shuttle charge for a shuttle that wasn't used. We saw the invoice our employer received- they received a flat (no breakdown) price for the move. Had we not asked for a detailed invoice with that extra shuttle charge, it would have just been paid. Oh and there was a surprise "filing fee" charge of $550 on that invoice, which wasn't mentioned at all when we pryed for a total price breakdown.

In summary, if the relocation your employer offers has a price limit and you are concerned you may hit that- record everything. Get copies of the paperwork from the hauling guys, be persistent, ask for price breakdowns and double-check everything. I should have written this review back then so I wouldn't be reliving this nightmare now.
