Everything was adorable I loved it but the prices were so overpriced and the staff made me uncomfortable. I was looking around and I always saw the staff looking at me and my sister. I was touching the stuff and looking at the cute things and then me and my sister walked somewhere else and I turn to see a lady “fixing” the things we touched as if we had messed it up (mind you we just touched one thing) I felt like me and my sister were being judge and I didn’t like how everytime I went somewhere or touched something I was always watched and judged. I won’t come here again.

My little sister and I walked in and as we picked up a cute plushie just to see it up close, a worker peered over- I ignored it and figured it was just concern over holding an expensive plush, however, it got increasingly uncomfortable the longer we spent in the store and at one point, we felt afraid to pick anything up. There’s a worker at EVERY corner staring you down and as soon as you pick something up and put it back down, they rush over to make sure you put it back in the right place. I’m so disgusted by the customer service that I lost all interest in purchasing from this store. I will NOT be going again and will instead spend my money across the street at Teso! Even better, at least teso sells Sanrio Character stickers for $1.29 rather than a flabbergasting $12.99!!!! If I had the chance to give any store zero stars, IT WOULD BE THIS ONE!

Could rate this experience zero stars. The workers were mad rude for no reason and following people around the store. And when we were looking and picking up the notebooks. They would like aggressively fix the placement of the notebooks as we were looking at it. The attitude of the granny worker was super rude as well. I also drank my drink when I was about to leave the store and the granny came running up to me and shouted at me NO DRINKING IN THE STORE. Okay I get it no drinking in the store but damn do you really need to yell. This is why yall dont get any business. The prices there are highly overpriced and the workers follow you around like a thief. Like chill. I also bought an overpriced pencil case at morning glory for around 27 dollars and found the same pencil case online for around 3. Yea the items are cute but if you’re also getting a horrible experience on top of it no one wants to come to the store. After that experience, I haven’t been back to morning glory since until today. I also don’t know how they expect to sell a simple keychain for like 20-30 dollars… its very questionable pricing. Overall, this was such a bad experience and I wouldn’t come back in the future.

This shop is very organized and they sell cute things. But their merchants are overpriced, even for a small thing. The second you answer you step into the shop, they follow and watched you around like you’re going to steal their merchants even though there’s a camera. Furthermore, they also don’t help you or show any good customer service if you are looking for anything. There are more cute things that to buy on Temu or Amazon.

If I could I would give this place 0 stars but everyone should know what is going on here. Went today to check on stickers and cards I wanted for a gift since they have cute stuff that I can get at last minute. Always have come here even do their prices are extremely high. Today when I was looking at the stickers an employee was looking at me and following me around like a dog like if I am going to steal something when I have always come here. They are really racist about the customers if you are not Asian they would follow you around all the time. So when looking at the stickers almost all of their stickers are open and I looked inside (from the side not even taking them out at no moment) to see how many pages of stickers come with it since the price is ridiculous as $3.99 for 2 pages of stickers 24 total. The employee came to me told me not to open them and if I wanted them should pay and leave like what? Never happened to me but never coming again here. Be aware of this place if you’re not Asian the would trate you like a thief.

I grew up in Flushing during the late 70's to mid 80's. One of my favorite memories of walking down Roosevelt Ave was stopping at the Hallmark store and being mesmerized by the Sanrio section up front. All those delicately scented erasers, Hello Kitty pencils, diaries with lock and key, pencil cases... Most of the stores and eateries I remember are gone now. Morning Glory gives me a bit of that nostalgic feeling while satisfying me with Kawaii eye candy. While I love almost everything, they're quite pricey. If you're an stationary junkie like me, you might not notice that there ARE stationary supplies and writing pads all the way in the back tucked into a corner. They have a decent selection of adorable writing pads for about $6 each. It might have been a good thing that they didn't carry many Hello Kitty x Tokidoki items lol I did buy their last mug and a notebook (and a few writing pads). I'd give 5 stars if they shelved items at cheaper price points.

Cute items, wide selections of pens, notebooks, stationary. It is a bit pricey. But YOU WILL BE FOLLOWED throughout the entire store. It's very uncomfortable. I even zipped up my pockets in front of a worker as soon as I walked in to MAKE THEM COMFORTABLE. But I was still followed around. This is their major fallback. Poor customer service. You will be followed around. I wish they could have a better loss prevention method than stalking customers
