Decided to break the cycle of replacing broken cheap umbrellas; so came here for a something more robust. The shop is modern concept, and I loved that they have a range of designs - so I got a compact umbrella that matches my style perfectly. The lady was super friendly and chill.

I wish the compact model was just a little shorter; but it feels sturdy with a smooth mechanism.

Good looking products but same problems with same parts on different purchases.
The repair work shop is in another part of London and their service fell short and they make excuses rather than addressing the issues.
Perhaps they believe their own hype and think they’ve no room for improvement rather shut down legitimate criticism about flaws encountered by customers. If Putin had an umbrella shop….

Bought a great little automatic umbrella, works great! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another from here, if needed.. good price, friendly staff.. 10/10

Absolute adorable shop with refrigerators that carry the umbrellas! Very cool displays. Also got an Apple morning bun which was delicious. They have sweet and Saabs options. For £1 we played the claw game and Duncan won a smiley faced bun. Too funny. It’s very nice and staff was friendly. Will go back tomorrow for an umbrella. Seem expensive for umbrellas however people like them a lot. Made from recycled coffee beans. Buy a cool umbrella and save the world all at once

My Undercover Umbrella goes with me everywhere now, I fear no weather.

I was talked into trying out the Compact Foldable after just walking in for a Coffee.
Their Saleswoman/Barista, Emily walked me through the features and introduced me to the term "Bounce Technology"

I now fear no weather. The umbrella goes wherever I do, and I relish the oppurtunity to extend the canopy against a sudden downpour of rain.

I believe the compacts make excellent every day purchases (as this might be the last umbrella I ever buy), and the larger umbrellas would make excellent gifts.

Expensive umbrellas, lovely designs, but poor quality. I've had a similar issue to another reviewer whose mentioned: "structure isn't sturdy and snaps without force." My £95 classic design umbrella of 3 months old (purchased July 2023) and with little use snapped upon applying minor force early October (i.e. to alight a bus). I then visited the Lamb's Conduit St store, and spoke to someone who turns out to be the co-founder, to find that London Undercover are unprepared to repair, replace, or even issue a refund –incredibly poor company practice.

If I co-founded a company I would do my up-most to ensure customer satisfaction and not to fob customers off with "it is what it is."

Great service, and one of the best umbrellas you can get. Assistant explained all the details about each umbrella. They do not come cheap, but it's a great high end accessory that will last you a lifetime.

-- 2 year update: Umbrella is still going strong, not a single problem has occured and it looks and feels the same as when I unwrapped it 2 years ago! --

I ordered a umbrella from Switzerland, so not inside the UK or even the EU and the whole experience was very pleasant.

I've been using the umbrella for a few weeks now and the quality as well as the product in general are very nice, I love it! I received it 1 day before we got some heavy rain here in Switzerland which has lasted for the past few weeks so I've had plenty of chances to test it. I bought a solid stick umbrella which has so far also worked great to support my slightly damaged knee as walking stick in moments I needed it. (Side note: Damages to the umbrella from using it as a walking stick are not covered by the company guidelines so I strongly advise against regular use as such.)

Miles from customer service tried to reach out to me about a minor detail that had be fixed before shipment but the e-mails where sent to my junk folder and I didn't see them. A while after the second try he called me on my phone (internationally!) which was very helpful since I would have probably not seen the e-mails in weeks which would have cost me a lot of time and I would have to call them up which would cost me quite a bit in phone fees.

Overall one of the best experiences I had ordering something online. Please note: Apart from suits I buy almost everything online so this is quite the achievement!
