Team of Alex, Mike and Ronny at LA MOVING CENTRE were very helpful and accommodating in explaining everything when they showed up and after they finished , we went over the bill.
They worked out the best package deal for us and booked the move in no time. Everything was perfectly planned out and the estimate was precise. Dimitry, the foreman, showed up on time at the move day, did the packing for us and loading , was performed quickly and expeditiously, with great care and the crew moved my belongings to the other end without any unwanted issues.
I can't tell you how great it was to find a reliable mover in my area. This experience with the company and moving process was the best I've ever had with any mover. They were swift and efficient and moved my contents without an incident. Guys blanket wrapped my entire stuff and took care of assembly, plus the leather and fabric furniture , and provided plastic wrapping at NO cost for my bed, dresser, dining set, and other items. They also provided wardrobe boxes for my clothes. Had all the tools necessary to put together bed and baby crib. The move was finished a little over the quoted time, but was understandable, because I added extra pick-ups and stops , which they were not aware of at the time, and I considered that was fair.
I'm truly satisfied with such a safe move and recommend them highly to anyone moving.
Everything went according to the plan and without a hitch. So, I will be putting my money on LA MOVING CENTRE & storage anytime, or whenever I decide to move again.

The movers were on time. Worked fast. . Max, Alexander and Aleksey worked very hard and did a great job moving my furniture without any issues. In addition, The price was very reasonable. I will use their services again in the future.

Worst moving experience EVER!

Joshua made lots of promises and then wouldn’t answer our calls when we had problems. I had to get friends with a different phone number to dial him so he would pick up the phone. He is NOT TO BE TRUSTED AT ALL!

THIER INSURANCE IS EXPIRED!!!

They lied about storage:
The place they do storage has an expired certificate of insurance, so if you have valuables that you are going to buy extra insurance on you can’t!

They lied about their employees:
They sent an email, which I have, stating their employees load, drive and unload your cross country move. One of guys that unloaded us was from another moving company out of RI ( he gave me his card in the way in the door) and some of them were just freelancers

They lied about the cost:
They bumped the cost up when they loaded the van in California.
I have an email stating that they would not need a shuttle in Providence. When they arrived they tried to strong arm me for even more money for a shuttle. They refused to unload unless I paid them the balance plus the extra they were trying to rip me off for in cash! 9 hours of haggling later, they unloaded the truck. They only had 2/3 of our stuff so I held out the last 1/3. I had to pay them 2/3 of the extra, as well, to get them to unload the truck. They didn’t finish unloading till after one am. I reminded them that they had to unwrap and reassembled all of our things. The guys doing the unloading said, “ no way, we have our own jobs. We don’t work for this company, we are not coming back” I finally told the truck driver, since he was the only employee, that I would not be paying the final 1/3 that I owed them unless they came back the next day and finished the job.

They broke our stuff!
I watched as one of them savagely ripped a moving blanket off of one of our $1200 antique Federal Chairs and broke it in three pieces!!! No “sorry” just a comment “ well, file and insurance claim” As we unpacked the following month we found so many broken items.

We are filing a complaint with the states attorney in both CA and RI

I work with people for a living and we sometimes have to arrange the moves of some furniture for my clients. This time it was from 3 locations to final location in Orange county down to LA.

I have used them 4 times now in the last 1.5 years. Before we used another company,
( something ……..Students rather ) . Oh, what a horrific experience that was. The last time we used them had some damages and other issues, so I decided to look for a new company to work with. A good friend of mine recommended the LA Moving Centre.

I had Ali come out for an estimate. He gave me all the info and pricing and we scheduled a day. The crew arrived 15 minutes earlier , parked the truck, set up safety cones and they started with all the packing I needed done. Then proceeded to disassemble and wrapping of everything. When we got to the second location they unwrapped and placed the furniture where I needed it, took all their trash with them, and finished everything just like was promised. Most definitely my family is very happy with LA MOVING, they will be my new company to go to, we’ll use for the future and recommend to others.
I was working with Tony and Ali for the last 1.5 weeks now, going over everything we needed to get done.

I see that LA Moving Centre has some mixed reviews. I have to say that so far in our process, they've been very responsive and helpful. We've been dealing with Joe, and so far so good. We are having them move 2 households out of state 5 days apart for us beginning next week. We are definitely confident that they can handle things professionally and on time. I can't say enough good things about LA Moving Centre! They were so professional, both over the phone and in person... Thanks to the internet for helping me find a GREAT moving company! We found the service to be fast, effective and generally awesome. The movers were amazing! Just like most reviews here, I'm very pleased. These guys are truly an excellent moving company. I had previous experiences with moving before but nothing beats the things I experienced from this company. The crew with Javier,Alex and Mike were amazing! Handled everything with extra care and they work diligently and super fast. I really haven't got any problems from them, office staff is polite and courteous. I am so happy with their service that I won't mind hiring them again in the future. Very satisfied customer.
