First time here 10/25/24 with Asthma attack with extreme wheezing related to COPD & everyone working from the front desk to all the Nurses, Physician & X-Ray Tech was very attentive & got me to the back to treat me instantly. My anxiety was over the top & I couldn't stop nervously shaking as my blood pressure continue to rise so the Triage Nurse did everything she could to calm me down. The communication from everyone was top tier as they explained everything that was going to be done. Pharmacy had my medications done within 15 minute's & I left after being there approximately 3 hour's being treated with a smile on my face & breathing a whole lot better. I just wanted to give my honest opinion about the care I received & wanted to say Thank You to all that assisted me yesterday. It's greatly appreciated.

Diana Changa with white skunk highlights refused service. Said she was the manager told me I could not be seen due to no California identification after explaining I'm receiving unemployment and my address shows CA address. Refused service and when I asked for a copy of the policy for refusing service she called security
Even security said she's not the manager and suggested I go back tomorrow (Diana Chavez) no customer service, if I wasn't sick I would of not had the need to come in.

They told me to come here from the Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic, they said that this is a free clinic and they accept me without insurance under the ATP program. DO NOT ACCEPT HERE WITHOUT INSURANCE! AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE ATP PROGRAM! They gave me the address of a nearby IHSS and told me to go there and get insurance.

Everyone that works there nurses, doctors and receptionists that ive encountered have all been extremely sweet. But that does not take away from the fact that I was misdiagnosed and given meds that actually ended up negatively affecting me. I woke up a day prior with covid like symptoms which was odd because I had just recovered from covid a week prior. The symptoms were not getting better and all of the tests I were taking were negative. Upon arrival the sweetest receptionist gave me assurance that everything would be ok and I would get care, which I appreciated. When I was seen, after waiting for some long time in the room, the doctor came in and examined me, did standard checks and ended up saying “Hm! I don’t know it’s hard to tell what it is! It could be strep throat, or mono, or I’m not sure!” And said let’s just get you these antibiotics and you should be okay. I didn’t get tested for anything, didn’t get any blood work, didn’t get a second opinion if you said you weren’t sure. About 30 min after taking my meds, I woke up from a nap I had tried to take with the most EXCRUCIATING PAIN in my abdomen area that I had never felt before in my life. I was screaming, crying, I couldn’t see straight and I was completely inconsolable for two hours non stop. The nurse hotline recommended that the ER was the best place for me. After spending nearly 7 hours at the ER, they told me that whatever meds I was given at the urgent care was not appropriate for me and is what gave me such a negative reaction. They expressed that I should have been properly tested for strep or mono and since I wasn’t, it could have all been avoided. I will be changing my primary care location after this, there’s no way I can go back and feel like I can trust the judgement here. Which is unfortunate because everyone was so sweet.
