Very pleasant stay at the Doubletree. Excellent service -- warm and helpful. Very comfortable room with an expansive view. Friendly bar for cocktails in the evening.||Overall, a standard business hotel, but one that felt much more comfortable than most.||Note for those bothered by noise: the hotel is on a major highway, and road noise is noticeable even on the 18th floor. Not something that bothered me, but light sleepers should beware.

I love staying here. Stephen, at front desk, is always very helpful, professional, courteous and knowledgeable! I stay here very often, and the staff has never been anything, but extremely kind. My rooms have been very comfortable and I love the standup shower. I have had an issue with odors in the hallway and once in my room, BUT as soon as I called about it, it was taken care of immediately. Instead of complaining, I’m a very proactive guest. I understand that unless it’s reported (like something wrong in/with the room), they might not know. The location cannot be beat!! You have the incredible, high end, North Park Mall, literally across the highway. East access to SMU, Love Field Airport, all kinds of great restaurants, HP, UP, Greenville Ave, Knox-Henderson, … Being a native Dallas site, this is where I want to stay. A lot of the old LOCALS favorites are near this hotel also. Campisis (Italian & Pizza), Casita Dominguez (Mexican), Little Mermaid at Neiman Marcus (lunch), Kuby’s (German), Goff’s (Hamburgers), … Too many to list! Have Fun!

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas – Campbell Centre, and my experience was highly disappointing. After checking out, I was charged an additional amount on my card without any explanation. Despite being told the refund would process within 24–48 hours, I still have not received my money. To make matters worse, the hotel has been unwilling to offer any form of accommodation or discount for my next reservation, even though the delay in refunding my money has caused significant inconvenience.

As someone who frequently stays in hotels due to my work with American Airlines, this level of service is unacceptable and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. I expected better from a Hilton property, especially when it comes to resolving issues promptly and providing excellent customer service.

I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience, and I would advise others to proceed with caution when booking here.

My recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately overshadowed by severe security issues and an apparent lack of regard for guest safety by the hotel staff. While the location is close to various attractions and amenities, it’s situated in an area that seems to be plagued by criminal activity, which poses significant concerns for anyone staying there.

I witnessed an unsettling incident involving two female guests who had traveled to attend a game. When they returned to the hotel, they found that their room had been accessed in their absence, and valuables were taken—this included personal items such as shoes, a belt, a hairdryer, and, shockingly, a set of car keys. Disturbingly, one of the guests’ cars was stolen directly from the hotel parking lot.

I observed these women in a state of distress, attempting to seek help from the front desk, only to be met with indifference. The hotel’s response was unacceptable: the staff insisted they could not assist until the general manager arrived on Monday, leaving these guests stranded and unsupported. The women resorted to calling the Dallas Police, who appeared overwhelmed and provided little assistance, remarking that it was “a Saturday night in Dallas.” This left the guests with no immediate resolution, highlighting a glaring lack of accountability on the hotel’s part.

And then there’s the “security guard”—a guy whose main job seems to be riding a golf cart around the lot. I say “security” loosely because this guy reeked of weed and was so high, I doubt he knew his own name, let alone noticed someone stealing a guest’s car. If he’s the hotel’s idea of safety, guests are better off bringing a guard dog.

Given that the hotel has a surveillance system and key card access, I would have expected the staff to investigate and take proactive steps to address the situation. Yet, they seemed either unwilling or unmotivated to help. The staff’s dismissive attitude, combined with the security guard’s negligent behavior, led me to suspect a possible internal issue or, at the very least, a serious lack of care on the part of the management.

Ultimately, this experience highlighted a significant security problem at this hotel and a deeply concerning lack of empathy and professionalism from the staff. I would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel to reconsider, as it does not provide a safe environment for its guests. The management’s failure to respond adequately to this incident speaks volumes about their priorities, and unfortunately, guest safety does not seem to be one of them.

I recommended the ladies to contact Hilton Corporate. They were able to go to the police department and report the theft and the lack of response and interest at the hotel. It’s my understanding this happens a lot at this hotel. I’m shocked there are not more reviews regarding this type of issue. Please be cautious if you stay here. It’s not safe.

Went here on a weekend trip. Was a pretty standard hotel. No complaints at all. Oh they also give free cookies so i’m totally not biased in this review. The view on the upper floors is really nice at night. However be warned it does get pretty loud from all the planes.

I wouldn’t say the rooms are deluxe. Seem like a regular average room. But the view was amazing and I loved the location!! I would definitely book again for my next visit.

Great location! Close to SMU! Lots of parking. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Love the sustainable body care products! Friendly staff. The fresh flowers at check in were beautiful. Continue to work on breakfast options - more protein for sure. The workout room was adequate.

We normally have a great experience at Double Tree Hotels but this one needs some serious renovation. When the elevator door opened to our floor we could instantly smell weed/cigarette smoke but hoped that’s where it would stop. Unfortunately, it wasn’t… As soon as we walked in our room we were greeted with an overwhelmingly smell of cigarette smoke. We immediately went back to the lobby desk and politely requested a different room. They apologized and stated smoking isn’t allowed and put us on a completely different floor. |Elevator door opened on our new floor and no smell so it looked promising… Welp, not so much. Once again greeted with cigarette smoke… It wasn’t as bad as the first room but still very prevalent. At this point we wanted to just leave and find a new hotel but we were exhausted. |We definitely regretted that decision through the night because every time the air came on the smell got stronger!! The hotel is beat up and just needs lots of work.|Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and had to have them come fix it as well.
