I had my challenges but life became easier once I shackled myself in my resolve. Clad with zero tolerance for time wasters; I now began to even become open minded to Bible study served with hot beverage, pastry and eggs, sausage and full breakfast at 8;00 AM. With the daily bread ministries. Sometimes the computer lab room gets stuffy but overall timing is key to success when living in the streets and applying and waiting for help. I enjoyed a basket of love to curve my ginger anxiety and miss Peanut Butter. ?

I put in an application to see if I could get some rental assistance. My mother and I were struggling with rent for August so I had applied as a last resort. I was surprised of how my case worker reached out to me so quick but as soon as August 3rd came no one responded anymore. The staff is very strange over the phone I called a total of four times; I spoke with a younger man but he hung up on me, spoke with an older woman who seemed clueless as to what was going on, spoke to an older man who just flat out said they were no longer taking applications, and the last time a woman telling me that I’ll be transferred to speak to someone but got me on the line with 211 instead. All I have to say is do not waste your time applying to these places. I’m sure they mean well in other ways but applying for rental and utility assistance is a waste of time. I’m not here posting out of spite or with malicious intent I just don’t like that I had given someone all of my mother’s and my personal information such as pay stubs, lease documents, ID, birth certificates, etc to someone who wasn’t going to approve me anyway like why ask for all of that if the answer was still going to be no, the requirements were not very clear and no one reached out to me to tell me why I wasn’t approved. I could have really saved time.

I applied for rental assistance due to losing my job but got another one I just needed help getting caught up not even the whole rent amount. I never received a call from anyone just an email I was denied. I called and every one I spoke was short and rude they gave me an email address to send an email as to why I was denied. Someone replied I had to have had a crisis in August to get approved in September. A crisis is a crisis and I can understand it it’s people that has applied for assistance before or if I didn’t have a job, I just fell behind and needed help on top of me sending proof of everything. The email was rude as well. I am a single mother of 3 children and I am so disappointed in this organization. I respectfully don’t understand how this organization is call Christian service center treating people as such. This organization doesn’t represent anything Christian. Again very disappointed

Don't even waste your time applying for rental assistance. They will find a way to deny you regardless of the circumstances. It is crazy they even have the nerve to call their selves Christians. Judging by the comments it doesn't seem they even really help with rent assistance at all. Probably is a scam to funnel money through and get a free tax write off. They denied my application with no call, email nothing and forget calling them everyone that answers the phone is clueless. I had to send an email to be told I needed to send proof of my hardship. Sent proof of my hardship and was denied anyway. Shame on you Christian service center one day you'll have to answer for all the people that needed help that you deliberately turned away.

Yes they may have some great services well I assume as much because that place is always so packed full of people it's ridiculous. It was so busy when I got there I wasn't even allowed to enter I was told to stand out on the sidewalk for over an hour then finally told I could go get in line to make my request for the assistance I was looking for however I ended up leaving because the line of people seemed to be a mile long

I applied for utilities assistance, which was a tedious task because of their clunky application and unclear requirements. They said it would be 10 business days to review, but they sent me an unprofessional email within just a few hours to deny me, no reason given. I suspect they don’t approve anyone.

No compassion or honesty here—hardly Christian in their values.

I Love The Clothing Boutique. Definitely A Crowed Placed EVERDAY. They're Service Is SO SO HELPFUL In This Day And Age. The Commuinty Really Leans On This Center. Dearly ,GOD BLESS THE SALT Employees<3
