Been here a few times and although there isn’t masses of stock the is still quite a choice staff always friendly and helpful I had a split appear in pond liner and the gent was full of knowledge on repairing it but thankfully had the size of liner in stock so just replaced whole liner instead definitely recommend this place I’m not one that likes to go in shop and bombarded by staff and this place doesn’t do that like I say friendly staff always say hello and always on hand if help needed

Went there today 23rd December 23.I was in trouble split pipe from filter box return to the pond also replacement air stones. 1.30pm expected him to be closed. Was opened every thing I wanted. Great price and advice.

I have owned tropical fish for approximately 4 years and have recently started usin C D Aquatics since a recommendation from a work colleague. I can't praise the staff here highly enough, they are always welcoming and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a new tank, or any other equipment.

Update

I recently visited here to look for a new tank but the store clerk refused to show me the tank I had gone to look at as it was still in a box! If I had been able to see the tank out of the box I would have bought it. But due the poor attitude of the staff and the fact that he wouldn't open the box I took my business elsewhere.
I shan't be returning here.

Decided to give the place another try after a very long time. New lay out looks nice but not a massive level of stock as there used to be a fair amount you could see easily as you walked in. What I was more dissapointed with was no marine live stock. Had I seen the reviews before I wouldnt have waisted my time as they stopped selling marine live stock a long time ago. I would have asked if there had been any staff on the shop floor but no one was about when I looked around. As I only keep marine fish then this place is no use to me which is a shame as if they had some I might have been tempted to try them again and they are local to my work.

Well, what more can I say other than amazing customer service. Having purchased a Aquaoak tank and sump I needed to plumb the tank to the sump. I thought it was going to be easy, a week later CD aquatics were still assisting me with the pipework. The owner was so so helpful when I went in with the initial drawings he advised me throughout on the best pipework and fittings to use, as I say I have returned nearly daily for a week (even sent my wife one day for a joint) and finally I get the system up and running like a dream. Thank you so much for all the advice and guidance and more importantly your patience.
If you need any aquarium or pond plumbing this is the man, he has everything, and patience of a saint.

I've noticed with family run businesses there's an extra level of attentiveness and personality. CD Aquatics has just these attributes. Knowledgable with a keenness to help their customers. The facility is very clean and fish are well cared for with good variety of species for fanatics and beginners. I highly recommend

I have just completed my Koi pond and the help and advice I received made the whole stressful process a little easier. The range of Pipework and fittings is excellent and very well priced. Being local and open all weekend was a massive bonus as I could get fittings there and then and didn't have to wait for them to be posted. They are always happy to help giving good advice.

I always try to shop local and avoid the internet, if these shops close where do you go on a Sunday morning when you have an emergency repair or treatment to carry out?

Fantastic service. Needed some pressure pipe parts for an emergency job on a swimming pool. Two to three days wait at other suppliers. All in stock at CD aquatics. The lady who answered the phone couldn't have been more helpful.
