Today I've driven 2 hrs to collect a Vanity unit, sink and toilet from this collection point.
At the front desk was told that I needed a big car as the vanity unit was fully assembled.
Was made to sign the collection paper even before seeing the boxes with the items.
At the parking lot while putting my car seats down, was met by this (very helpful) gentleman carrying all the boxes with a loading trolley.
Helped me loading it into my car and wished me a good weekend.
Two hours later, at home, realised that the 249.97£ toilet was not the box I though it was... In fact the two massive boxes are the vanity unit and the sink separately. The toilet is entirely missing.
My fault as I should have checked it before leaving or even better - I shoulf have refused to sign the paperwork before confirming the items were all there.
Called the company straight away and now they opened an investigation.
They said it will take 24 hrs (I'm pretty stuck now with this project)
I want to believe it was all a honest mistake and Better Bathrooms honor it's side of the transaction agreed from both parts..
This is the reason for the 1 star review.
Will update the star soon after seeing the outcome of this unfortunate situation.
EDIT:After 5 phone calls and 5 different explanations the last person took matters in her own hands and we got a sms saying that the toilet was found and was ready for collection. At the collection point the employees recognise me and apologised for the (what it seemed to be a genuine) mistake.
Upgrading from 1 to 4 (not to 5) due to:
- Having to drive twice to get the goods;
- The robustness of the collection procedure (where you are asked to sign the receipt for the collection way before the boxes are brought to you)
- For all the phone calls...
OVERALL if asked, I would say that I would buy again from Better Bathrooms and use the same Collection Point.

1 STAR IS FAR TO GENEROUS!

Better Bathrooms, should rename their organisation to:
BETTER WE LET YOU DOWN WITH YOUR BATHROOM!

An absolute diabolical company with NO customer care or willingness to simply provide what you order and pay for.

We paid £40 for a delivery date. Having called BB twice today only to speak to a call centre on both occasions, we were advised that due to Black Friday and Cyber Monday we would not receive our order today (as booked and paid for) but it would be arriving 4 days later.

I mentioned to the guy on the phone, that this is why you only have 2 stars, he actually agreed with me - funny, if it wasn't such a disaster having arranged for a plumber to be coming in the morning.

Disappointed I’m not able to give no stars to this company. We’re doing a home renovation and I mistakenly ordered a bath with them. Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong from item not being delivered on set day, going missing from their delivery van the next delivery day, requested a refund which was not processed. Took over a week for refund.
High delivery fees for worst possible service.
Customer service agents are terrible and the managers are worse.
Advised they do not offer discount for compensation for their errors and couldn’t care less when you call with an issue.
No one called me back and I had to keep ringing them.
Unsure how this business is still in operation.

Bought a bath from Drench in end. They were half the price and so easy to deal with. Use them not Better Bathrooms that are anything but Better!

After ordering the units I needed I discovered the reviews on here and was a little concerned. However, our experience seems to be at odds with a number of other customers. I think more people leave a review after a negative experience rather than a positive one so I thought I’d add some balance to the reviews. Delivery was delayed by 2 days but this was probably because I added another item to the delivery after my initial purchase. However, after a short phone call they reimbursed the money I had paid for delivery as a good will gesture. They were apologetic and understanding.

The items were really good quality and the free standing cabinet came already put together and was far more robust than I expected for the price. Based on my experience I’d certainly use again.

We bought some good value products we were really pleased with. There is however a piece of cautionary advice for home improvers.....

We discovered that a shower we bought wasn't suitable for our project but because it was over 14 days from purchase, BetterBathrooms wouldn't exchange it or even provide a credit note. As it was in the same, boxed condition as when we received it, this seemed nonsense. We spent £3,000 on purchases and it was the builders who delayed our project to six weeks and misinformed us in the purchase. We simply wanted to return this shower and exchange it for one to work in our wet room.

This is shameful of customer services. Please don't buy from this company unless you are certain the product is suitable. There are plenty of companies who will exchange products under these circumstances.

Dreadful company, goods arrived ok but sink was cream instead of white, they wouldn’t accept my query, sent them pictures which patently showed the sink was cream compared to the vanity unit. Took ages to get a refund and when it came I was nearly £50 down on the transaction - still in dispute! They don’t even deserve 1 star!

Tried calling customer service, the lady that answered had a terrible customer service manner and wouldn't let me ask my question without signing up to do an order with her. Then lectures me on how she was part of a sales team. If Better bathrooms would like to listen to the call it was at 9.01am 8/8/24 with Gail lasting only a few minutes. In the end I didn't get my answer and left feeling very frustrated!

Ordered a few products for collection. No emails nothing. Decided to get in touch only for them to say no stock for another 3 weeks. Wasted my time. Could they not have the common sense to maybe inform the customer of shortage so they could make rearrangements. Avoid!
