We had really been looking forward to trying out the AC Marriott. Other than the service, we were left very underwhelmed and disappointed. We had heard a lot about the sky bar - looks really like a cool space. Everyone at the hotel gave incredible service, Darius was particularly fantastic and accommodating when we needed to change rooms. Valet needs to work on their part, takes a long time to get the car. But although they try to package this hotel as understated elegance, we thought it fell short. Forget any work being done here - I’ve included a photo of my smaller laptop on the desk - no room at all. And it felt like when they were designing the rooms someone forgot closets or hanging space, so they added a small metal space, added a fridge, iron and some glasses, and gave you about 18 inches of open space to hang any clothes. (Hoping you aren’t here for a formal event, because you wouldn’t be able to hang a long dress) the elevators are a practice in patience, especially in the evening when everyone is at the Sky Bar - which you have to get through to get to check in.
We have elevated status at Marriott and have always had a fantastic experience with our AC visits at other locations. But this one is awkwardly placed on a busy corner off the freeway with too many obstacles. I would say, come and enjoy the Sky bar, but skip the hotel stay. There are too many other cool places to stay and this doesn’t justify the higher room rates.

]I recently stayed at this property for the first time, as I typically stay at the Grand Bohemian during my frequent visits to the area. The location and charm of the building are fantastic, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. However, the experience was overshadowed by significant noise issues due to the property's proximity to I-4.

The complimentary earplugs provided in the room were a thoughtful touch, but unfortunately, they weren’t enough to block out the constant traffic noise. As a light sleeper, I found it nearly impossible to get a restful night's sleep.

I would recommend this hotel to those who aren’t as sensitive to noise or who might be looking for a more budget-friendly option in a great location. For now, I hope the hotel can invest in better soundproofing to address this issue for future guests.

If noise isn’t a concern for you, the hotel has plenty of positives to offer. However, if you’re looking for a quiet night’s rest, this may not be the best fit.

Great hotel for Kia Center events and soccer games. Literally 5 minute walk to the center. Beautiful rooftop view from the lobby. Bar is very popular on weekends. First floors are for parking which can create a line to use the elevator from the entrance.

My experience was definitely not what was expected. The hotel itself was in a great location and fairly easy to get to and from. Unfortunately, the valet is not up to par and should be explained to hotel guests prior to them booking. Wait times and being understaffed as well as not having sufficient elevators for everyone makes the wait time unbearable even with the technology accelerators (texting & calling beforehand).

Another thing that should have been explained to guests prior to booking is the excessive amount of people that come in late at nights. Friday and Saturday night it took me about 15 to 30 minutes just to get from the elevator to my room because of the massive amount of people that were trying to get to the sky bar and coming back from a concert. Given the amount of money paid for these rooms that aren't even really THAT nice; this was a horrible experience and something that I will never subject myself to in the future. The staff even resorted to using service elevators and letting us out where the linens and the waters are stored. Very unprofessional and definitely not comfortable for guests.

I stayed for five nights and two of those nights I had to call down to get my room properly cleaned because the maids #1 forgot to completely clean my room one day (like just never came to clean) and #2 when they did clean my room didn't restock the glass cups and the coffee cups appropriately. The one thing that should always be consistent is at least the quality of cleanliness that a hotel provides. That was definitely not acceptable.
Thankfully Marriott is a big brand and has connections with multiple other hotel companies that are local and available and definitely don't have that high volume of people or issues with their maids which is deterring to most calm travelers that expect a level of standard.
All in all the hotel was not to my liking, not satisfactory at all, & as for being a Marriott Bonvoy member not the usual environment. The marketing needs to be geared towards a party scene so that you guys can cater to those people and not acquire people that look for something completely different and have a standard of quality and communication and expect a certain type of organization that a company provides; hence our loyalty to that company.
This hotel was a complete shit show with loud drunk people coming to and fro because of the rooftop bar; that mind you doesn't even have a great selection of wine. The breakfast was mediocre and definitely not worth it even being included ( free). And the limited amount of natural light within the rooms can definitely cause hormonal imbalances if staying at this hotel for more than 5 days. I unapologetically do not recommend this hotel and will never stay here again.

Hotel is very nice I arrived around noon on a Sunday and the front desk quickly accommodated and provided an “early” room…. But the real star is Loann at SkyBar on the 18th floor, she was very attentive to all customers and made drinks just right with good recommendations. A great stay!

Great hotel with modern rooms, but the real highlight was the super amazing bar. It’s on the 18th floor and the views are to die for. Nathaniel was our bartender and he made super delicious drinks. He was really friendly and fun too. I’ll be back.

I recently stayed at the AC Hotel Orlando Downtown while in town for EDC Orlando, and it was the perfect choice. The rooms were spacious and modern, with well-appointed bathrooms that provided all the comforts needed after long days out. The hotel’s rooftop bar quickly became a favorite spot, offering great food, drinks, and a view that added to the whole experience.

The location is ideal for anyone attending EDC or looking to explore downtown, as everything is within walking distance. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which really made the stay enjoyable. My only minor comment would be that the elevators were occasionally a bit slow, but this didn’t detract from the overall quality of the experience.

I would absolutely return here for future visits to Orlando.

Love staying here because they have one of the most kindest bartenders, Nathaniel. His customer service is outstanding. I even went to find the bar manager to give my accolades. But on a separate note, pretty clean rooms, beautiful 18th floor lobby with roof top and great location. Have stayed at this hotel on 3 separate locations.
